Kochman, Reidt, and Haigh (KR+H) is a cabinet and built-in furniture designer and manufacturer serving luxury residential construction. Since its inception in 1991, KR+H has prided itself on the highest quality craftsmanship, impeccable customer service, and the cultivation of a warm environment that values the woodworking profession. The organization is based in Stoughton MA, and KR+H has installed work up and down the East Coast as well as several places out west. 


About the Role 

KR+H is seeking an energetic leader to succeed our current Finance Lead who is retiring. KR+H’s incoming Senior Finance Director will be an experienced and thoughtful executive, with demonstrated abilities with both financial management and select aspects of human resources management. The primary duties of this role are to direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance, Legal and Compliance, Business Planning, Tax & Accounting functions of the organization, as well as coordinating select outsourced HR services. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

This role will oversee the Business Office Manager, and is a critical business partner to KR&H’s sales, estimating and operations team members. The role will report to the company CEO and would include the following responsibilities. 

  • Provides leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial and operating objectives.
  • Provides timely and accurate analysis of cash and liquidity, budgets, financial trends and forecasts.
  • Takes hands-on lead position of developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive cost and profitability analysis for projects.
  • Evaluates and advises on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/ strategies and regulatory action.
  • Establishes and maintains strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions.
  • Manages processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting to the Company
  • Provides recommendations to monitor enterprise risk and strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
  • Ensures that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
  • Manages the company’s performance management system including the establishment, tracking and evolution of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Drives out waste and system inefficiencies across the business and helps provide the reporting for others to identify and track progress against key growth and efficiency KPIs
  •  Effectively manages accounting, bank, insurance and other enterprise service relationships  
  • Effectively manages relationship with outsourced HR support, including on compensation, benefits, and other HR services as needed by the company. 


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Knowledge of ‘Percentage of completion’ accounting method for evaluating work-in-progress on long term contracts
  • BS in Accounting or Finance, MBA and/or CPA 
  • 10+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles, with responsibility for compliance, contract review, human resource management, preferably in manufacturing or similar organizations. 
  • Experience with both annual and longer range financial planning and budgeting including variance analysis
  • Experience in driving cost efficiencies while also supporting growth initiatives
  • Experience with manufacturing companies is considered a plus
  • Experience with HR management a plus
