Assist the Manager of Financial Controlling in providing tool and reports to local management and to the holding company to steer the P&L of the Region.


Key Responsibilities And Duties

  • Assist the Manager of Financial Controlling in performing the following tasks for AZT Americas Region:
  • Provides and Analyzes monthly reports (check-points, quarterly pre-close, monthly flash reports) and analysis of the P&L to local management and to the Group.
  • Manage and update local and group reports with group standard KPIs.
  • Lead point of contact for all Cost Reporting and Productivity Tools, both Budget and Actuals
  • Responsible for Alignment of Cost Centers, and tracking newly created per Group Standards.
  • Lead 3-year planning process beginning in May (e.g. “PD2024”). Responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of all submissions in Financial Systems and any other required deliverables.
  • Tracking all company Targets during year and continued communication with Group Finance concerning achievement
  • Populate, maintain and analyze expense tools both by Company, Nature and Department to steer the Cost and Productivity Ratios
  • Discuss and analyze quarterly costs and the deviation to budget / forecast with heads of departments for both Insurance and Service business
  • Analyze Acquisition Cost details and provide explanations for deviations to budget
  • Developing strong working relationships with Global Cost Managers at both Group P&PM and Group Cost Accounting


Required Qualifications And Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or related discipline. Master’s Degree and/or CPA desired
  • 4-7 years’ experience in Corporate Accounting, financial area, ideally in a controlling position: expertise in finance & accounting, analysis of performance/ financial reports
  • Advanced Excel spreadsheet skills using pivot tables
  • Willingness to work required overtime when necessary at year-end & quarterly filing timeframe
  • Legal and technical know-how, basis for understanding of legal environment, and advanced technical systems
  • Deep understanding of regulatory environment and statutory reporting requirements
  • Ability to design, test & interface large amounts of data/calculations between technical systems
  • Ability to keep up with and comply with changing regulatory requirements of multiple countries
  • Strong knowledge of technical accounting, reporting and regulatory requirements
  • Pragmatic, flexible, autonomous and team player making constant improvements
  • Detailed oriented and organized
  • Self-Starter, following jobs to completion with high independence and challenging current processes
  • At ease with figures and data processing tools, ideally knowledge of SAP and SAP BW
  • Expert MS Excel and Multi-Dimensional Databases
  • Experience with IRFS accounting standards
  • Cost Accounting / Cost Controlling Experience Preferred
