Robert Half is working with a growing, yet stable company south of Charlotte who is looking to add a Senior Financial Analyst to their team. The Sr. Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in providing insightful financial analysis and strategic recommendations. This role requires a strong background in analyzing balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, as well as experience in budgeting and forecasting. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial principles, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis: Analyze balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements to assess financial performance and identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process, including the development of financial models, scenario analysis, and variance analysis. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present detailed financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial summaries. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in reporting.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and business planning. Provide financial insights and recommendations to drive business performance.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making and strategic planning. Evaluate the financial impact of various business scenarios and initiatives.
  • Compliance & Controls: Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. Assist with internal and external audits as needed.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus but not required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, with a strong background in balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Proven experience in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and modeling techniques.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion. PowerBI).
  • Strong Excel skills, including the ability to build complex financial models and perform data analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
