The Role
Lead the development of web and mobile applications, solving both complex technical and product challenges to deliver solutions that propel our company and industry forward.
Architect and write high-quality, maintainable, and well-documented code in a fast-paced professional software development environment.
Employ Agile methodologies to continuously deliver value to end users.
Maintain and develop internal web services/APIs, ensuring data integrity across multiple business databases.
Build a comprehensive understanding of our business model and operations through cross-functional exposure.
Requirements
Leadership Responsibilities:
Work closely with our leadership team in architecture and scoping discussions.
Provide technical mentorship to our engineering team.
Delegate and review assigned tasks.
Actively contribute to team and company standards.
Perform code reviews and advise on new technologies, development tools, and emerging standards.
Desired Skills And Experience
5+ years of experience in Full Stack Web Development (PHP and/or Python).
Proven ability to design, architect, and build performant, reliable, high-quality systems.
Strong business acumen and a history of leveraging it effectively in prior roles.
Experience with SQL and relational databases (MySQL and/or SQL Server), including database design.
Competency with MVC frameworks, particularly CodeIgniter and Flask.
Experience with queue-based architectures, such as RabbitMQ.
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience integrating SOAP and RESTful APIs.
Solid understanding of web services and service-oriented architecture.
A track record of designing solutions and building them from the ground up.
A fast learner with excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
Nice To Have
Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
Familiarity with cloud technologies like AWS.
Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes.
Experience working with both collocated and remote teams.
Expertise in architecting, building, and styling UIs.
