Job Description:

As the Senior Global Telematics Operations Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our telematics systems and vehicle tracking. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll oversee the team responsible for disabling and enabling cars, recovering assets, and managing geofences.

Your focus will be on maintaining compliance, creating safety policies, and optimizing telematics operations. Additionally, you’ll lead offshore efforts and work closely with legal and risk management to enhance our vehicle recovery processes.

Essential Job Functions:

• Manage the team responsible for disabling and enabling vehicles, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with company policies.
• Coordinate efforts to recover assets, prevent unauthorized use, and minimize losses.
• Work closely with risk/legal, branch operations, collections/billing, title/licensing, and purchasing teams to align telematics processes with business needs.
• Collaborate with safety and legal departments to develop and implement safety policies related to vehicle recovery and telematics.
• Lead and guide offshore teams involved in telematics operations.
• Create SOPs for procedures involving telemantics
• Address challenges related to vehicle towing and impoundment, implement strategies to streamline process and reduce expense
• Must be able to work with or without reasonable accommodations

Travel Requirements: Less than 10%

Qualifications Needed:

• 5 years of work experience in telematics, asset recovery, or related roles.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams is required.
• Familiarity with legal and safety compliance in the automotive industry.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Passion for smart mobility solutions.
