Senior HR Director (US)

Pharmaron, a leading R&D service provider in the life sciences industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior HR Director to oversee our HR efforts in the US.

As a Director, Lead a team of experienced HRBPs, while contributing to overall strategy and policy-making by advising the Management on human resource implications of its decisions.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategy aligned with the overall business strategy to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
  • Provide leadership and guidance for all HR functions, including talent acquisition, talent management, total rewards, employee relations, learning and development, and HR operations.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify organizational and talent priorities and to develop workforce plans that address current and future needs.
  • Manage employee engagement and retention strategies and programs to ensure a positive workplace culture and high employee satisfaction.
  • Oversee recruitment and selection processes, including workforce planning, sourcing, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
  • Develop compensation and benefits programs that are competitive and aligned with the organization's goals and culture.
  • Develop and implement performance management and recognition programs that drive employee engagement and retention.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to HR and employment practices.
  • Lead HR operational activities, including compensation and benefits administration, HR information systems, and HR policies and procedures


Role Requirements:

  • Minimum 15 years' experience in relevant role within a fast paced organisation.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing HR strategies and programs that drive business results.
  • Held previous position of seniority, able to establish credibility and build department accountability.
  • Proven experience in motivating, developing, managing and empowering team members.
  • Proven experience in applying updated legislation to a variety of HR situations.
  • Stay up-to-date with US employment law.
  • The role requires meticulous attention to detail and for all work to be conducted strictly in accordance with company Policies and Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Follow all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements that are defined on work instructions or communicated in training.
  • Respect the confidentiality of information obtained in the course of duties performed and refrain from disclosing such information without written consent from Management, except where disclosure is required by law or by the order of a Court.
