Addison Group is partnered with a global, publicly-traded company on the search for a fully remote Senior Internal Auditor. The Senior Internal Auditor will perform a variety of audits at the corporate and business unit level, while at times, traveling to domestic and international locations.
Responsibilities:
Identify areas of risk to determine scope of reviews/audits
Perform a variety of financial, compliance, operational and IT audits
Review accounting records to detect deficient controls or any form of non-compliance
Document and present work performed while recommending any areas for remediation
Follow up on progress of any recommended process remediations
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's in accounting, finance or related areas required
1 or more years of internal or external audit experience required
CPA and/or public accounting experience is a plus
Ability to travel 25-35% depending on business needs
Manufacturing, industrial or similar industry experience
Exposure to SOX controls
Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment
