We are expanding our team and seeking a skilled Senior IT Specialist to ensure the seamless operation of our IT infrastructure, particularly focusing on Microsoft environments and remote user support.

Key Responsibilities

  • GCC High and Microsoft Administration: Manage and maintain our Azure GCC High environment, ensuring robust security and efficient IT operations. This includes global administration tasks, user management, license assignment, and system configuration.
  • Endpoint Security Management: Utilize endpoint security tools, such as CrowdStrike, to protect and manage devices across the organization.
  • Device Management: Oversee and manage Apple and Windows devices, ensuring they meet security standards and are properly configured for remote use.
  • Patching and Scanning: Perform regular patching and vulnerability scanning across all systems to mitigate potential risks.
  • Ticketing and Escalation: Act as the first line of defense by managing Jira tickets, escalating issues when necessary, and coordinating with the appropriate teams for resolution.
  • Onboarding and User Support: Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including setting up user accounts for both commercial and federal customers, assigning licenses, and ensuring that all necessary equipment is shipped and configured properly.
  • License and Asset Management: Track and manage software licenses and IT assets across the organization, ensuring compliance and optimal usage of resources.
  • Remote Support: Provide comprehensive IT support to a globally distributed team, where 90% of users are remote workers, ensuring quick resolution of issues and minimal disruption.
  • Collaboration with IT and Security Teams: Work closely with the Information Security team and IT team to implement security controls, support compliance initiatives, and maintain a secure IT environment.
  • Zscaler ZIA Management: Manage Zscaler ZIA for secure web access, including handling web filtering, exception management, and ensuring users have the access they need.


Required Qualifications:

  • Microsoft and GCC High Expertise: Extensive experience in managing Azure GCC High environments and performing global admin-level tasks in a Microsoft environment.
  • Endpoint Security Proficiency: Hands-on experience with endpoint security tools like CrowdStrike.
  • Device Management: Proficiency in managing Apple and Windows devices within a remote work environment.
  • Patching and Scanning Experience: Demonstrated experience with patch management and vulnerability scanning tools.
  • Ticketing Systems Knowledge: Experience with Jira or similar ticketing systems, including ticket management and escalation processes.
  • User Support Skills: Strong background in onboarding users, setting up accounts for commercial and federal customers, and providing general IT support.
  • License and Asset Management: Experience in managing software licenses and coordinating the logistics of IT equipment.
  • Remote Work Support: Proven ability to support a globally distributed, remote workforce effectively.
  • Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with IT and Information Security teams.


Education and Certifications:

  • Education: Associate Degree or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Certifications:
    • AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (Required)
    • MS-102: Microsoft 365 Administrator (Preferred)
    • Other relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or equivalent are highly valued.
