Senior / Lead Producer (Game) - Dallas, TX hybrid or US Remote

Position Overview

As the Lead Producer at Stemuli, you will oversee the ongoing development of our educational MMO game. From hire through our first major launches in 2025, you will be the primary, on-the-ground producer for our games team, but you will be ready and willing to scale with the organization when the time comes. We’re looking for an effective leader and an excellent communicator, capable of juggling various tasks while driving the team to deliver quality and timely work.

You will collaborate closely with our creative teams, developers, and business leaders as well as our customer schools and districts to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards. Your strategic vision and leadership will be instrumental in driving the success of our game projects and achieving our company’s goals.

Location

We would like you to work hybrid with our leadership in Dallas, Texas, but we will accept candidates working remotely throughout the US.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of game development milestones, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and vision.
• Collaborate closely with our Creative Director and teams across every discipline to execute on Stemuli’s vision for the game.
• Help our team translate customer requirements into clear, prioritized, achievable work.
• Monitor and manage the team’s finances, including budgeting, resource allocation, and vendor approvals.
• Help resolve unique complex product issues through ingenuity, creativity and any other means necessary to get the job done. Identify risks early and often and remove roadblocks and performance bottlenecks as needed.
• Foster clear and effective communication channels across teams and with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and challenges.
• Continuously evaluate and refine production processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and creativity in game development.
  
  

What We’re Searching For

• Experienced (5+ years) as a Producer in the games industry
• Excellent knowledge of production, the difficulties generally encountered by teams, and solutions tailored to their requirements
• Experience as a producer in a group of 15+ developers (programmers, artists, animators, designers, testers)
• Passionate about and fluent with Agile methodologies - we are firm believers in Agile
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Passionate about revolutionizing education and workforce development through technology
  
  

We Prefer If You Have

• Experience with educational technology systems
• Background in working for a venture-backed startup, with a deep understanding of the fast-paced, dynamic environment and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
