Role Overview
Bimbo Bakeries USA (BBU) has a successful track record of commercial transformation initiatives and is undergoing a marketing transformation to accelerate our Brand growth. Specifically, Bimbo Bakeries USA seeks a Senior Manager who will be critical in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of our agency ecosystem, as well as how we manage and govern our brand and creative assets. This role will have one associate that reports to them, and this individual will report to the Director of Content & Creative Services. The position sits within the Marketing Center of Excellence Team at Bimbo Bakeries USA.
This is a remote position, preferably within proximity to Philadelphia or Chicago.
Main Responsibilities
Responsible for centralized agency management and governance, holding our agencies accountable to pre-defined deliverables and standards. Excludes our Media Agency of Record.
Train and coach brand teams and cross-functional partners on how to get the most out of their agency partners, especially through the lens of an integrated agency team (IAT) process.
Works closely with Procurement to develop annual Scopes of Work with our agency partners and BBU associates.
Responsible for running a scheduled set of agency evaluations, including coordination of Agency feedback sessions, remediation planning, execution, and tracking of deliverables.
Oversee the process and governance for fonts, our digital asset management (DAM) platform, and maintenance of brand books and style guidelines.
Co-author with corporate comms, legal, finance, and procurement marketing policies.
Partners with cross-functional associates to identify data and technology requirements, running RFPs as needed.
Regularly present to Bimbo Bakeries USA cross-functional teams.
Manage budget commensurate with role-related initiatives.
Lead, and mentor direct report, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to foster growth and improve performance.

Professional Skills & Experience
8+ years of relevant experience in agency, procurement, and/or a marketing services role.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field, with a Master’s degree being a plus.
Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience is a plus.
Experience working with production agencies and/or in-house creative studios.
Understanding the inner workings of agencies across creative, packaging, digital, ecommerce, social and influencer, PR, and production
Ability to travel 10-20% domestically and/or internationally for meetings, conferences, and creative shoots.
