Overview:

We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and detail-oriented Senior Manager of Financial Reporting to join our dynamic finance team. This upgraded role demands a strategic leader who will oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and provide valuable insights to support executive-level decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Financial Statement Preparation: Oversee the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
• Audit Coordination: Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors to facilitate the audit process, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Policy Development: Develop and implement robust accounting policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze financial data and variances to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, providing strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations, ensuring the company’s compliance with applicable laws.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of financial analysts, fostering high performance and professional development.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial reporting or accounting, preferably in the manufacturing or distribution industry, with a background in public accounting.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards, with proficiency in financial analysis and financial modeling.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Analytical Skills: Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Software Proficiency: Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting software (SAP & NetSuite) is a plus.
