Summary

The Seattle Seahawks are seeking a Senior Manager of Marketing Analytics & Technology to lead operations and analytics efforts within our Business Strategy & Analytics department. This pivotal role is crucial in shaping our strategies and initiatives through the effective use of data, analytics and technology solutions. You and your team will lead initiatives and collaborate with various departments to collect, integrate, analyze and interpret data aimed at optimizing campaigns, enhancing fan engagement and driving revenue growth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties as assigned.

Data Analytics

  • Develop programmatic dashboards to track key performance metrics and communicate insights to stakeholders
  • Drive the collection, integration and quality of data from diverse sources to deliver consistent actionable insights and recommendations
  • Ensure compliance and maintain solutions in adherence with data privacy regulations
  • Analyze behavior, performance and trends to identify actionable insights
  • Design and execute A/B tests and other experiments to optimize performance and foster continuous improvement

Technology and Operations

  • Develop and oversee MarTech and data platform solutions alongside our Digital Platforms team, ensuring data quality and business logic alignment
  • Facilitate seamless data workflows for personalized fan communication efforts between business systems, digital platforms and the data warehouse
  • Collaborate with other cross-functional teams to ensure operational synergy across sales, service and engagement efforts

Leadership

  • Lead a small team (2 members), providing mentorship, guidance and day-to-day support to foster their professional growth and development
  • Set clear scope, goals and standards for team members. Provide regular feedback and performance evaluations to ensure alignment with departmental objectives
  • Cultivate a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence across the team, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous learning

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, technical marketing/operations or a related field
  • Experience administering web analytics services, preferably Google Analytics
  • Experience writing SQL queries and extracting data from relational databases
  • Skilled in developing descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive analytical data models to drive decision-making and strategic planning
  • Experience with data visualizations (e.g. Tableau) preferred
  • Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with non-technical and technical teams
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and fostered collaboration to achieve a collective result
  • Strong emotional intelligence and ability to work with people with various communication styles
  • Experience clarifying ambiguous problems, defining challenges, devising strategies and seeing initiatives through to completion

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • The salary range for this position is: $100,000 - $140,000. The salary range applies to the current posting. The posted salary range may vary based on key factors including, but not limited to, education, job-related knowledge, experience and skill set
