Base pay range
Fresh offers a hybrid working schedule with three fixed days in office, and two days remote. This role is based in our Jersey City Office.

Job Description
Packaging development team executes the design and the validation of the primary and secondary components and finished goods with optimized technical conception while meeting the Marketing definition, conception process and compliance with the Group objectives. Throughout the development process, we communicate and interact with Marketing, Design, Product Development, lab, Operations team, suppliers and filing factories.
Your Impact to the role:
- Support the company growth by developing and implementing innovative packages. The role is cross-functional in nature, working closely with Marketing, Product Development, Design and Operations. Partnerships with outside packaging vendors are a critical element of job responsibilities.
- Collaborate with marketing and Design on establishing feasibility for new packaging initiatives/concepts.
- Execute the development and qualification of a wide range of primary and secondary packaging solutions that meet the needs for brand aesthetics, consumer use, manufacturing capability, quality and cost.
- Support the conceptualization, initiation, development, validation and implementation of new and improved packages and processes including: design generation, prototype development, engineering specifications, mold qualification, functionality and quality testing.
- Lead packaging cost savings, optimization and efficiency opportunity assessment, risk mitigation plans, and implementation.
- Integrate and drive processes and initiatives within the category to ensure alignment and support of Packaging strategy with key partners.
- Manage and develop direct report/s by providing support, coaching and input consistent with the business standard
- Be knowledgeable of component vendors and fillers capabilities and expertise
- Drive innovation by presenting new and/or improved packaging processes, technologies or concepts
- Set clear development plan for direct report/s to support their professional growth
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position on average of 7.5 hours/day.
- Light to moderate lifting may be required.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, and operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
Who You Are
You have:
- 5+ Years of Experience Required inengineering or a related technical discipline
- Strong PC skills; MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel
- CAD software knowledge (is a plus)
- An expert on packaging materials and processes.
- Highly experienced on the capabilities and constraints of filling plant and contract manufacturing.
- Self-motivated and self-disciplined individual, able to work in relative autonomy
- Good communication skills, to be able to deal effectively with all levels of the organization and suppliers
- Good organizational skills to manage the documentation, materials and information
- Proven Project Management Skills
- Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Proactively make recommendations on process improvement and new ways of working
- Ambition to learn more, with a curious mindset
- Strong passion for the beauty industry

The salary range for this role is $115,000 - $140,000 USD.
