About the Team

Our US Marketplace team is responsible for growing the DoorDash business in the US, helping customers to discover & order what's best in their city, merchants to grow their sales, and dashers to find flexible work.

About the Role

You will report into the User Growth team, leading cross-functional collaboration between DoorDash's product, marketing, finance, and analytics teams to deliver and retain new users on the DoorDash marketplace. You'll have the opportunity to help define new bets, incubate 0-1 experiments, scope partnership opportunities, and execute on a roadmap to improve new user retention.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Build – Explore growth opportunities alongside our partners in Product, Marketing, Analytics, Engineering, and Operations teams
  • Analyze – Shape and define our strategy based on quantitative and qualitative data
  • Operate – Figure out how to get from A to B–then actually make it happen.
  • Experiment - Run tests and scale insights. Embrace the challenge of having multiple paths forward and no right answer.
  • Influence - Work cross-functionally across the US Marketplace Organization to help craft roadmaps, secure investment, and partner with other organizations to improve the new user experience
  • Grow – Help the business get 1% better every day.

We're excited about you because…

  • You have 8+ years of experience in strategy & operations or consulting; high-growth startup experience is advantageous
  • You have 3+ years of people management experience
  • You have experience leading cross-functional projects and hitting goals
  • You are comfortable running analysis and manipulating datasets; SQL experience is strongly preferred
  • You always look for ways to improve and want to shape the direction of the company
  • You can motivate people at all levels across the organization
  • You can translate high-level goals into relevant plans
  • You love getting to a low level of detail
