Senior Manager, US Commercial Sourcing

General Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and collaborative procurement professional who has over 5-10 years of category procurement experience, with at least 5 years of leading procurement experience in support of sales and marketing related activities. You understand the market structure, key players and the levers that can be used to ensure the right trade-off between cost and quality. You are well versed in the contract nuances relative to the category (meeting and events; Travel, market research, creative and exhibition, medical service, media and public relation, digital and etc.) and are accustomed to working with internal and external stakeholder relationships to ensure service levels and customer satisfaction are met.

You have a naturally curious mind and thrive on uncertainty and ambiguity and relish the opportunity to engage with multiple stakeholders to understand their needs and partner with functional leadership to explore the best way needs can be met.

Culturally you will have had exposure to working in US and can operate with suppliers in all countries mainly in North America and Europe.

The location of this role is US remote with a strong preference of being driving distance from a major BeiGene office.

Manage commercial related categories in US and Europe to meet global procurement targets, including sourcing, demand management, and supplier performance management. Support Global Category Leads (GCL) to develop and execute category strategy by offering local subject matter expertise and market intelligence. Build up a pipeline of category initiatives and opportunities, develop relationships with key stakeholders, and support the global development and standardization of core category management infrastructure. Develop strong, trustworthy relationships with key stakeholders relating to category accountabilities, other procurement teams and General / Administrative functions such as Finance, HR, Legal and Compliance to ensure appropriate inputs to sourcing strategies and implementation plans.

Qualifications And Competencies

Highly motivated, self-starter able to work in a changing and diverse environment. 5+ years US experience in commercial category (meeting and events, Travel, market research, creative and exhibition, medical service, media and public relation, digital etc.), past experiences in multinational company or pharmaceutical industry are preferred. Strong data analysis and presentation skills Strong experiences on influencing stakeholders with excellent communication skills and maturity manner Can work comfortably across time zones and cultures in an effective way. Excellent English capability (read, write, speak) Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point. SAP, ARIBA and other system experiences are preferred. Must possess the highest degree of ethical standards and be able to deal with highly sensitive and confidential data.

Salary Range: $130,600.00 - $175,600.00 annually

BeiGene is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation packages are determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location. Packages may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor. The recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for a preferred location during the hiring process. Please note that the listed range reflects the base salary or hourly range only. Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
