Job Title: Sr. Marketing Analyst (Ecommerce)

Location: US remote


Reporting to: Global Director of Ecommerce Analytics


Overview of Role:

As a pivotal member of the Pens.com Ecommerce Analytics team, the Senior Marketing Analyst is devoted to driving our brands' success via insightful, data-driven decision-making. In this role, you will primarily focus on optimizing our digital marketing efforts across various platforms, including Paid Media, SEO, Email, and Direct-to-Site traffic. You will collaborate closely with our channel marketing managers, providing them with comprehensive reports, invaluable insights, and timely responses to ad hoc data inquiries. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape our marketing strategies, elevate our digital footprint, and significantly contribute to our brand's prosperity in the online marketplace.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Data Visualization and Reporting: Work directly with channel managers to create data-driven dashboards in Looker that provide a clear view of channel performance, identify potential areas for improvement, and deliver actionable insights.

Channel Performance Analysis: Regularly analyze the effectiveness of each marketing channel, identifying strengths and weaknesses, and use these insights to optimize channel strategies.

Data Integrity Management: Ensure data accuracy across Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), overseeing data validation, rectifying data inconsistencies, and ensuring that our marketing decisions are based on the most accurate and up-to-date data.

Advanced Data Analysis: Extract and analyze data from BigQuery/Snowflake, handling large and complex data sets, cleansing and manipulating data to create insights that drive strategic actions and decisions.

Attribution Modelling: Leverage advanced attribution models to understand the incrementality and effectiveness of our marketing efforts.


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:


Monthly Channel Reports: Provide in-depth channel reports and insights for the North American markets on a monthly basis.

Looker Dashboards: Develop comprehensive Looker dashboards for each marketing channel to offer an at-a-glance view of performance and trends.

Ad Hoc Data Requests: Be responsive to ad hoc data requests from business stakeholders, ensuring they are processed accurately and promptly.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education & Experience: A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, complemented by 5 years of experience in the Ecommerce domain.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Looker, Google Analytics v4, BigQuery, Snowflake, SQL, and Python.

Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex data, identify patterns, and provide actionable insights.

Marketing Skills: Familiarity with different marketing channels and their respective dynamics.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively share insights, present data, and collaborate with team members.



This is a US Remote position. The California base annual salary/hourly range for this role is currently $115,000 to $135,000. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members. Our recruiters can share more information about our bonus program, benefits and equity during the hiring process. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
