Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To
Create new Combined Arms Training Strategies (CATS), review and revise existing CATS.
Sustain Army Training Readiness Products with focuses on Mission Essential Task Lists (METL).
Conduct analysis and integration of Army and Joint Training Products.
Provide support to the execution of the Standards for Training Readiness Advisory Group (STRAG) responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in any field or a graduate of a military service school equivalent to Command and General Staff College, the Sergeant Majors Academy and/or an Army specific specialty course.
Rank of Major (O-4), Chief Warrant Officer 3 (CW-3), or Sergeant First Class (E-7).
Five (5) + year’s general experience in military planning, training, operations, logistics, intelligence, force design/development and capability/training developments.
Served on the Battalion or Brigade level staff in an operations position
Desired Qualifications
Working knowledge of the ARTEP Program, task-based strategy development, METL development, and Training Management, to include Joint Training integration.
Be familiar with emerging Army force structures, the Training Model concept, and Sustainable Readiness Model (SRM) in addition to AR 350-1, FM 7-0, TRADOC Regulation 350-70, and TRADOC Pam 350-70-1
