Our client is seeking a Senior Network Engineer focused on designing, implementing, and maintaining their robust restaurant network infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of the network, supporting critical business operations.



Contract through EOY with potential extension or conversion to Full Time. During contract, you will be a W2 employee of Talent Groups.



Client is hybrid – Tuesday thru Thursday onsite – Downtown Chicago/West Loop area.

• Network Implementation and Maintenance:

• Network Optimization:


Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on enterprise-level networks.

• Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs).

• Experience with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.).

• Knowledge of network security best practices and experience with firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security tools.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent.

• Experience with cloud-based networking solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.
