What you'll do:

  • Team Leadership: Direct and support a team of producers, creatives, and creative technologists, ensuring that project goals are met. Organize regular meetings to update stakeholders on project progress and address any issues promptly.
  • Project Management: Oversee the customization and ongoing updates of internal production templates to streamline processes across various aspects including status updates, scheduling, budgeting, and vendor communications.
  • Client Relations: Serve as the primary contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction on all project deliverables. Additionally, manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiation and invoicing.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor all project-related expenses, ensuring alignment with approved budgets. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely payment of vendor invoices and financial compliance.
  • Production Coordination: Work closely with Fabrication and Production teams to manage the creation and installation of custom elements. Develop comprehensive production schedules to ensure smooth operations.
  • Communication: Ensure effective communication across all teams, providing essential information for sourcing and fabrication needs related to project equipment such as video, audio, and lighting.
  • Staffing and On-Site Management: Handle the recruitment and management of all necessary on-site staff. Support producers and production managers during events to ensure flawless execution.

Who you are:

  • +6 years relevant industry experience
  • Leadership and Team Management/Project Management: Ability to lead and manage a diverse team of producers, creatives, and technologists, ensuring effective collaboration and productivity. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for leading client communications, internal team updates, and vendor negotiations.
  • Budget Management Experience: We are seeking candidates with proven experience in managing large-scale budgets, specifically those exceeding $1 million. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of overseeing financial planning, allocation, and reporting to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget constraints.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly adapt and solve problems that may arise during project execution.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail in managing complex schedules, budgeting, and logistical aspects of production.
  • Relevant Industry Experience: Experience in a similar role within the industry, managing production teams and handling client communications.
  • Vendor Management Experience: Experience in managing relationships with vendors, including contracting and invoicing.
  • Technical Production Knowledge: Understanding of the technical requirements for production, including video, audio, lighting, and custom fabrication.
  • On-site Event Management: Proven track record of managing on-site operations for events or projects.
