Key job responsibilities

In this role, you will lead the product development efforts for apparel Private Label products and will be responsible for:

  • Creating a data-driven long-term roadmap
  • Identifying new product development opportunities for our brands.
  • Developing and bringing to market new products.
  • Coordinating product development across international, cross-functional teams.
  • Managing an existing business which is growing exponentially.
  • Designing and implementing new processes to help scale our business.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about fashion and products, have strong product development and process design skills as well as outstanding project management abilities. S/he should excel in both strategic thinking and tactical execution, as responsibilities range from creating business plans to driving product development. The candidate should also feel comfortable dealing with ambiguity and working in a very entrepreneurial environment. The Sr. Product Manager will interact with and influence multiple teams across the organization like Buying/Planning, Legal, Quality, Consumer Insights, Operations, etc.

The Product Manager’s Primary Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Evaluating the online and in-store assortment for Household categories and determining the right assortment for us to build based on market trends and customer needs analysis.
  • Weekly and monthly tracking of category P&Ls to monitor profitability goals and diving deep where needed to drive continuous improvement.
  • Process development, operational planning and understanding of comprehensive financial analysis to support forecasting/inventory investments.
  • Developing the product road map for the Shopbop Private Brands program
  • Influence executive decision-makers, helping them to understand the brand, desired product positioning, key points of difference, and target customer.
  • Developing a thorough understanding of the market segment, seasonality and global trends/events, and continually monitoring competitor efforts.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with end-to-end product delivery
  • Experience as a product manager or owner

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with end to end product delivery
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience as a product manager or owner
  • Experience owning technology products

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
