Senior Product Manager - Remote

Steer offers a suite of software tools for today's automotive repair shop. We combine a mix of software tools that a repair shop needs to run a highly profitable shop, in one user-friendly, cost-effective platform. Through the Steer CRM suite, we allow the shop owner to get back to focusing on what matters, and to stop worrying about marketing and customer retention.

Steer began as an online directory for drivers to find a local mechanic. Fast forward to today, Steer has launched a complete Customer Relationship Management (CRM) marketing suite, complete with text messaging, email automation, direct mail integration, reputation management, appointment reminders, declined/recommended services, and many other features. About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager with a laser-focus on user behavior to report into our Head of Product. You will lead the vision, roadmap and execution of our Reporting and Customer Filters squad. You have three goals: make our reporting features best in class for both individual shops and seasoned enterprise professional shops, make sure our invoice data is structured to enable super targeted and segmented marketing campaigns, and leverage customer insights to build new, paid add-on features and drive revenue growth.

• Develop and communicate a clear product strategy that aligns with your squad's goals and objectives
• Build and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the product's development journey and milestones from conception to launch.
• Lead and encourage cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, marketers, sales, and customer success to build and launch high-quality solutions.
• Conduct market research and analysis to find opportunities, trends, and customer needs.
• Talk with customers on an ongoing basis to maintain a deep understanding of their needs and preferences.
• Drive a tailored and business value-aligned technology evaluation process, driving real growth and CX improvements.
• Collaborate closely with prospects, channel partners, our sales and customer success teams to deliver solutions and channel feedback to inform and improve the product.
• Champion creative solutions to build a process and partnership that is grounded in customer empathy, and product best practices in a high-paced start-up environment.

You Have

Must Have:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of product management experience with Enterprise or SaaS, delivering end-to-end products from ideation to launch.
• Past marketing experience or marketing/sales automation/martech product experience.
• Experience leading roadmapping & ideation for innovative products.
• Usability/UI optimization experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of SQL.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
• Ability to modify approach as per changing stakeholders, conditions, circumstances and feedback.
• Consistent track record of delivering products with global, cross-functional teams - engineering, design, sales, marketing.
• You consistently view things from the user's perspective and are always striving to improve in this area.
