Senior Production Manager

Our client, a growing international company here in Greenville, SC, is looking to hire a Senior Production Manager.

This role is part of the operations leadership team, responsible for ensuring efficient production operations while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. The Senior Production Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and achieve production targets.

Experience in manufacturing and strategic leadership is essential!

This is an onsite role in Greer, SC.

Essential Duties & Functions:

• Allocate resources and forecast output for each production line to meet annual objectives.
• Ensure production plans are feasible, coordinate and arrange production to meet quality and quantity goals, and manage any production issues.
• Supervise daily production activities, coordinate key projects, and oversee new employee onboarding in collaboration with HR.
• Set and achieve annual efficiency & quality targets, develop improvement plans, and oversee work orders and continuous improvements.
• Analyze budget expenses, prepare annual budgets, manage overtime, and control attendance and energy use.
• Promote lean production, encourage employee improvement proposals, and conduct regular inspections and inventory analyses.
• Break down objectives, create annual production plans, guide and supervise teams, and assist with employee recruitment.
• Revise performance evaluation programs with HR, manage team development, identify key employees, and boost employee satisfaction to reduce turnover.
• Oversee safety and production standards, ensure compliance with safety policies, and adjust production line layouts.
• Participate in third-party audits and customer inspections
• Manage and maintain equipment, tools, and abrasives, and conduct periodic inspections.
• Establish and enhance management systems and processes for efficient production operations.
• Lead new product and project implementations and promote new technologies, processes, and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
• 10 years of small batch manufacturing experience with management experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and manage large-scale manufacturing operations.
