Our client is a dynamic and an exciting fast growing software organization and they are seeking a Senior Accountant/Senior Revenue Accountant to join their growing team. Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be able to:
Review significant customer contracts, new product/commercial offerings, and financial statement disclosures to ensure compliance in accordance with ASC 606.
Develop a deep understanding of products and services to drive a consistent approach across the organization in SaaS product revenue recognition
Knowledge of SaaS contracting terms and principles, deferred revenue schedules and commission accounting
Review of all revenue and billing set up in systems of all revenue accounts in the company.
Prepare monthly revenue closing schedules with credit and variance analysis
Prepare monthly calculation and analysis of embedded trends between ARR and revenue recognition
Assist in the accounting of customer divestitures and subscription management, new contract formation and system set up for recurring billing
Review, reconcile and monitor sales forecast and revenue reports
Work closely with the collection manager and Sales Operation on all customer matters.
Manage sales tax filing reporting and interaction with external auditors is expected.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, CPA (Preferred)
