What You'll Do:

The Senior Sales Development Representative at DonorDrive is responsible for bridging the marketing/lead generation and sales processes. This role is responsible for setting up appointments and finding potential clients for the sales team, with a primary focus on being the first step in the prospecting process and generating new business opportunities.

  • Set up demonstrations for the existing sales team through telephone, email, and social campaigns
  • Responsible for hitting monthly and quarterly lead generation targets
  • Manage prospect data within the CRM dashboard, making sure that all relevant communications and contact data is verified and logged
  • Manage a portion of the demonstrations through to successful conclusion
  • Become intimately familiar with the internal marketing/sales tools and become an expert at managing internal lists and lead tools such as Pardot
  • Use Salesforce.com (SFDC) to create a daily call list based off previous outreach touch points
  • Document all calls and emails in SFDC
  • Follow-up on marketing leads and identified target lists provided by the company
  • Create prospect nurture campaigns and follow-ups using Outreach.io
  • Collaborate with marketing team to develop prospect nurture campaigns
  • Research and contact prospect companies
  • Present an accurate and professionally delivered pre-qualified value proposition and answer basic product related questions for potential lead contacts
  • Meet identified success benchmarks for the role, including daily prospect touch points, weekly demos, and new accounts each month
  • Perform other related sales and support duties as required

  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com or similar CRM system
  • Ability to learn new tools and software quickly
  • Excellent verbal/written communication proficiency, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to prospects and stakeholders in an easy to understand format
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Strong organization and time management skills, with the ability to consistently maintain prospect follow-up activity
  • Collaboration within and across teams
  • Results oriented approach with a competitive drive to achieve the highest levels of performance
  • Ability to persuade prospects and utilize creative methods of sourcing potential customers
  • Initiative - motivation to seek out new responsibilities, learn additional skills, and stay abreast of changing industry trends and techniques

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2-5 years of related sales or marketing experience preferred
  • Prior experience working in software or a related industry is strongly preferred
