Job Title: Senior Sales Representative

Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Location: Denver, CO

Salary Range: $55,000 base; OTE $85,000+

Position Objective

Schwazze is seeking an ambitious and coachable Senior Sales Representative to drive nutrients sales in hydroponic centers as well as cannabis & hemp cultivation centers. This person will be responsible for managing the relationships within the Southern Colorado sales territories and developing new business in the area. This is an integral member to the team as our Sales Representatives allow Schwazze to continue to provide top quality products to both our loyal and prospective customers.

Essential Functions

  • Manage relationships within sales territory to exceed sales objectives
  • Build rapport, manage, train, and support direct accounts through excellent account management
  • Identify leads and opportunities within territory for strategic growth
  • Grow existing accounts through upselling, cross selling, customer service support
  • Probe and problem solve with customers to provide right products and solutions
  • Meet and exceed daily, monthly, quarterly sales activities, objective and results
  • Support and nurture accounts to prevent churn and promote growth
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all customers, internal and external
  • Grow market share by increasing sales and sales volume while maintain approved company margin goals
  • Complete all daily and weekly sales activities, sales reports, and CRM duties
  • Maintain complete, detailed, and accurate account details on all accounts
  • Build territory by distributing and maintain current marketing material
  • Perform inside and outside sales duties including – cold calls, site visits, vendor days, support calls, and potential for travel to new markets
  • Participate in activities to promote Success Nutrients, i.e., trade fairs, vendor days, promotional events
  • Attain BU goals, performance measures include revenue attainment, penetration of market, and customer retention
  • Collaborate with management, operations, and other staff members to ensure orders are processed with accuracy and efficiency

Requirements

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
  • 3+years of successful inside/outside sales experience within the retail channels
  • Goal oriented
  • Extensive working knowledge of hydroponics, indoor/outdoor cultivation, cannabis growing, or gardening industry
  • Driven, self-starter with the desire to succeed in achieving sales growth goals
  • Will build and maintain accurate and up-to-date strategic account plans
  • Must be able to keep organized, accurate records on daily activities and results
  • Strong organization and time management skills are imperative
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, team environment while meeting sales goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and able to effectively multi-task
  • Ability to travel to new and emerging markets
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products i.e., Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.
  • Valid Driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Working Conditions (Schedule, Environment, Travel)

  • Schedule will Vary Depending on the needs of the business (Nights, Weekends, Holidays included)
  • Travel from 70-100% of total time: Based on company growth opportunity
