Our client designs, manufactures and installs very large systems for the production of biopharmaceutical products. They are looking for a Senior Manager Supply Chain, who will be responsible for developing and implementing a supply strategy that delivers the lowest total cost, reduces inventory, and maximizes customer satisfaction through world class service.
You will OWN the Supply Chain function, drive expansion and improvement in procurement, production planning, logistics of multiple step assembly operation. Work closely with Executive team as well as peers in Engineering, Operations and Sales.
Qualifications and Experience needed
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Strategic sourcing experience
Production planning and international shipping
7+ years' of supply chain experience in industrial automation
10 years working in a custom driven large project environment
Strong negotiation and influencing skills
Experience in capital equipment manufacturing and/or large equipment assembly operations
