Senior System Administrator

Northwest Partners is partnering with a premier client in the transportation industry to hire an experienced Windows/Linux Server Admin as a full-time Team Lead . This is a hybrid position basd in Jacksonville, FL,

What YOU Will Do

• Manage and guide a team responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of infrastructure systems.
• Monitor productivity, ensuring work meets required standards and is completed on time.
• Delegate tasks and provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members.
• Lead the training of team members on new technologies and emerging trends.
• Manage department expenses according to budget, ensuring that goals and projects are met.
• Resolve escalated customer issues and maintain effective communication with internal and external customers.
• Oversee enterprise server infrastructure design, implementation, and delivery.
• Ensure adherence to disaster recovery standards and manage restoration activities.
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and security.
  
  

What YOU Will Bring Us

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 5+ years of Linux experience and 5+ years of Windows Administration experience.
• Extensive experience with Enterprise Level AD infrastructure, Microsoft technologies (Active Directory, DNS, ADFS, etc.), and security software management.
• Subject matter expertise in clustering technologies, load balancing, systems design, and security principles.
• Knowledge of Cloud environments, preferably Azure, AWS, GCP, or IBM Cloud.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, with PowerShell preferred.
• Ability to work after hours, on weekends, and participate in on-call rotations.

• Red Hat experience.
• Leadership, coaching, or mentoring experience.
