We are seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join our dynamic team in a remote role. Key Responsibilities
Tax Preparation & Review: Prepare and review tax returns, oversee client engagements, including scheduling, staffing, and resolving technical issues.
Team Leadership: Manage, supervise, and mentor staff, supporting their professional development and maintaining a positive team atmosphere.
Complex Issue Management: Address complex tax issues creatively, ensuring a thorough understanding of tax laws and their implications.
Financial Analysis: Utilize various technologies to create, analyze, and present financial results effectively.
Client Interaction: Engage proactively with clients, offering insightful business and tax recommendations, and help them understand their financial position and strategic plan.
Staff Development: Train and develop staff to effectively present financial and tax results.
Collaboration & Innovation: Contribute ideas and collaborate on complex matters involving clients, staff, and the firm. Stay informed about industry trends to help guide the firm toward future goals.
Leadership Contribution: Work closely with the leadership team to drive improvements and enhance company operations.
Requirements
Active CPA License
8-10 years of experience in a small to medium-sized CPA firm with a stable work history
Proficiency in reviewing a wide range of tax returns and preparing complex tax returns
Strong knowledge of tax research, planning, and projections
Excellent critical thinking, communication, and advisory skills
Ability to thrive in a contemporary work environment
Dedicated focus with no secondary jobs or side clients
Experience with Ultratax CS, Practice Management Software, Practice CS, GoFileRoom, or Practice Forward preferred
Preference for Eastern or Central Time Zones
