Senior VFX Artist

Our client, a remote-first game-development company, is seeking a full-time Senior VFX Artist. This role is fully remote and offers a favourable salary and benefits. As a Senior VFX Artist, you will design and implement high-quality AAA VFX to support gameplay and art direction. In your first week in this VFX Designer role, you can expect to: Create and optimise VFX to run within performance limitations Collaborate closely with art, animation, design and programming teams to anticipate and overcome challenges, meeting visual requirements and constraints Translate references, concept art, game design briefs, and verbal directions into prototypes and implement real-time VFX in-game To apply for this VFX role, you will need mid to senior-level professional VFX experience in the game industry. You will also require the following: A solid reel/portfolio showcasing your real-time FX work At least one shipped title A critical eye for timing, animation and motion of real-world objects and visual FX The ability to create all art needed for the FX from prototype to final FX.
