Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Video Editor to join their team on a part-time freelance basis!
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the editing and post-production of video content, bringing strong technical skills in video editing, particularly with Adobe Premiere. This role requires a blend of creative and technical expertise, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Edit video content using Adobe Premiere, transforming scripts or raw footage into polished final products.
Perform basic color correction and matching, with a solid understanding of LOG workflow.
Execute green screen removal and apply basic post-production special effects.
Utilize audio enhancement tools to clean up and balance audio in video projects.
Create cut-downs from longer footage to suit various content needs.
Collaborate with the Creative Media Team and other internal teams to ensure video content aligns with brand and messaging.
Communicate effectively with project managers and stakeholders throughout the editing process.
Deliver high-quality video content within given deadlines.
Maintain organized project files and adhere to file management protocols.
Assist with video planning and pre-production processes when needed.
Prepare and export videos for various social media platforms, ensuring optimal quality and format.
Qualifications:
Experience level: Experienced
Bachelor’s degree in Film, Video Production, Multimedia, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
5-7+ years of professional video editing experience.
Strong professional portfolio demonstrating advanced video editing skills and creativity.
Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere.
Solid understanding of color correction, green screen removal, and basic post-production special effects.
Ability to enhance video and audio quality through various editing techniques.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.
