We are looking for a dynamic & strategic SEO & Web Analyst to join our team! This position is responsible for driving traffic through search engine optimization and analyzing data to make recommendations for content development and lead generation opportunities. The SEO & Web Analyst will define and implement best practices for optimal user experience, working closely with counterparts in web, content and product marketing to optimize websites.

Essential Functions/Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, define, and implement unified SEO strategies and campaigns that will drive long-term, sustainable site traffic.
  • Analyze current SEO of event and digital websites and pages, in coordination with elements and structure, to identify and make recommendations to further optimize each area.
  • Administer and monitor search engine programs for purposes of diagnostic reporting on client projects to improve site performance in accordance with SEO goals.
  • Use industry and best practices knowledge to provide analysis and recommendations for optimal user experience for marketing managers.
  • Monitor and administer web analytics dashboards, reports, and reporting tools, and point out key areas of importance in accordance with client goals.
  • Recommend general and keyword specific strategies for content as well as revisions to improve SEO and increase website visibility.
  • Assist with Web and development QA.
  • Keep up with SEO, UX, search engine, and internet marketing industry trends and development.
  • Handle special projects as assigned.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Technical proficiency in web analytics software such as Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and SEM Rush are required.
  • 4+ years of experience in Search Engine Marketing (SEM) are required.
  • Solid foundation in digital marketing best practices with knowledge of UX best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present to internal stakeholders with a high attention to detail.
  • Analytical and creative problem solver.
  • Ability to learn new software, reporting tools and processes quickly.
  • Proven experience with handling multiple accounts successfully.


Work Environment: Diversified Communications offers the flexibility to work remotely and enjoy a hybrid schedule, working in the office 2 days per week. While this position reports into our office located in Portland, Maine, we are open to considering fully remote applicants.
