The Role

We are looking to fill an important role as our server application analyst! This position is primarily responsible for the architecture, configuration, administration, and support of Microsoft’s M365 Power Platform and related M365 infrastructure. You will assist with designing, installing, configuring, and managing the delivery of enterprise services to support the ODOT Enterprise Technology section. Apply today to join our team!

A Day In The Life

  • Experience and training in Microsoft M365 administration, especially Power Platform administration, as well as SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams administration.
  • Proficient in the components of the Microsoft Power Platform, in order to train application developers, when necessary, in the use of these components. In particular Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Perform architectural technology solutions, resolving issues in alignment with business priorities, creating and adhering to technical standards, organization practices, enterprise frameworks and paradigms, while establishing personal work priorities.
  • Gather customer requirements and architect solutions utilizing the Power Platform components, as well as the ability to provide troubleshooting and support for Power Platform applications developed by other ODOT staff or contractors.
  • Provide proposed enhancements, bug fixes and system changes that address business system change requests.
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online, especially as it relates to the Power Platform components.
  • Play a key role in the establishment of governance for the use of Power Platform components.
  • Knowledge and experience of Business Intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI.
  • Working knowledge of PowerShell modules for M365.
  • Application security as it relates to Power Platform components and related cloud infrastructure and permissions.

Minimum Qualifications

Six (6) years of information systems experience

OR

An associate's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field OR completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field AND four (4) years of information systems experience

OR

A bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field AND two (2) years of information systems experience

OR

Master's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field may substitute for all of the above.
