Maloya is seeking a part-time server. The ideal candidate is a positive, polite, and energetic person who loves to work with the public. Candidates must have an easy going, collaborative, "can-do" attitude. French language skills are a plus, but not a requirement. Interest in rhum from the French diaspora is also a big plus. Provide attentive service in for a 30 seat casual dining room
Work in collaboration with the bartender. The bartender and server are the sole FOH staff, and they share the tasks of hosting, running food, and bussing tables in addition to standard server and bartender tasks.
Learn and share knowledge about all of Maloya's food and beverage offerings
Enter orders and process payment on Square POS. Manage seating with Resy POS. Manage takeout orders on the telephone and via third party delivery app tablets.
