Job description: Server/Network Technicians is responsible for the Server and Network hardware Builds within the data Centres. This includes Rack and stack, planning, cabling of the assets based on the ticket assignment and/or hardware assets to ensure compliance with vendor contracts. The individual will assists and collaborate with the remote build teams to install Servers , Network devices and Cabling in the data centres
Candidate should be able to provide proof of Covid-19 Vaccine at the time of joining.
Network Builds
Obtain all required documentation for network core
Count & Stage proper devices/equipment
Deploy all necessary copper cabling/fiber, QSFPs required for build
Server Installs
Leads all SKU based installs
Inbound truck with equipment
Check all for damages or missing devices
Stage in storage room and unbox safely
Check HARD ticket for proper reservations
Verify correct devices against HARD ticket
Stage in suite and install rails/devices
Update Ticketing tool and power up devices for discovery mode
