The Service Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the service department for a local farm equipment, powersports, and lawn/garden dealership. This includes managing a team of technicians, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a high level of productivity.
Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise service technicians and support staff, providing guidance and support as needed
Ensure timely and efficient completion of service requests
Monitor and maintain inventory levels of parts and supplies
Maintain a high level of productivity by monitoring service processes
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer service experience and improve overall company performance
Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing customer concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
Provide regular reports on service department performance to upper management
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Provide training and development opportunities for service technicians
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a service management role
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
Valid driver's license
