Air Compressor Service Tech

Our valued client is seeking a talented Air Compressor Service Tech to join their well-respected team. As the Air Compressor Service Tech you will take on the more intricate service and maintenance appointments for large industrial air compressors. You will have access to a brand-new transit van to directly attend appointments right from your home and a set of tools. In addition, our client is offering an immediate sign-on bonus of $10,000.00!

We are looking for solid experience in compressed air for this role. Take advantage of this is a ground floor opportunity to step into the most senior role for service in the air service division of this manufacturer and distributor plans to double within 3 years. This involves local Michigan travel and occasional visits to northern IN & OH which can also include installations and joining the sales team to visit new and established commercial accounts.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4-5 years hands-on experience working on a top brand(s) in compressed air
• Experience with 500+ HP (minimum) Industrial Air Compressors
• Ability to travel daily with 75% local travel and up to 25% out-of-state travel.
• Needs to have any/some direct factory certifications (Kaishan, Atlas Copco, etc)
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical items
• Clean/good driving record
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder to be considered for this position

You will NOT be the first in line to answer emergency calls during off hours. Salary is based on level of experience. Excellent benefits, paid expenses & use of new company vehicles.
