Job Description
Dominion Financial Services (DFS) is a mortgage originator for single family real estate. DFS originates two main loan products – a short-term bridge loan for fix & flip investors, and a long-term rental loan for landlords growing their rental portfolios. DFS is thriving in the current competitive environment and shows aggressive quarterly growth. Our current origination volume is $70MM per month. DFS is looking for a detail-oriented Service Transfer Intern to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for current college students or recent college grads looking to kick start a career in the Lending and Finance Industry! As an Intern with Dominion Financial Services, you will have the opportunity to gain experience while working alongside a successful team of driven real estate professionals. This internship will offer between $15-$20/HR.

- Assist with the transfer process of real estate services between clients and the company, ensuring smooth transitions.
- Coordinate with various departments, including sales, operations, and customer service, to facilitate the transfer of services efficiently.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to understand the specific needs and requirements of clients during the transfer process.
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary documentation and information for the transfer.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing transfer agreements, contracts, and other legal documents.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the transfer process.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that all aspects of the transfer process are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to service transfers within the real estate sector.
- Assist in generating reports and analyses to track the progress of service transfers and identify areas for improvement.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to service transfers in the real estate industry.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients and internal teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be organized and able to multitask.
