We are in search of a Regional Sales Manager responsible for selling company products within an assigned territory (Southeastern/Southwestern region). The RSM will manage and expand current accounts, seek new business opportunities, and contribute to overall growth in customer satisfaction and profitability. This role involves collaboration with various departments to enhance the sales process, service quality, and customer experience.

Territory Growth & Management
Market and sell products within a designated territory, identifying and developing business plans with existing and prospective customers to boost market share and profitability.
Maintain and grow current accounts through organic methods.
Consistently demonstrate product knowledge and growing capabilities, contributing to continuous improvements.
Create targeted presentations and proposals for both new and existing customers, aligning with company goals for profitability and product diversification.
Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and implementation plans in line with company objectives and customer needs.
Sales Execution & Account Management/Servicing
Prepare sales contracts and proposals.
Foster a team environment by collaborating with inside sales to develop strategies for securing and increasing business.
Partner with various departments and utilize internal resources to meet customer expectations, resolve issues, and enhance customer service.
Advise on and improve sales processes, suggesting resources needed to effectively sell and provide value-added solutions and supply chain strategies.
Deliver timely reports and feedback to management regarding account performance and updates.
Conduct forecasting and market analysis to set and achieve sales objectives, understanding economic trends, industry developments, and competitor activities.
Align with inventory requirements to support sales and manage Days of Inventory (DIO) according to company goals.
Understand and manage components of overall profitability to drive business growth.
Promote cross-selling of company products to both new and existing customers.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain valuable business relationships.
Effective organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Willingness and ability to travel
Access to a functioning automobile for work purposes
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
Experience in metals, manufacturing, and/or distribution
