SharePoint Developer, Mid
Key Role:
Design, build, and test web-based applications on a SharePoint enabled site. Build client-side solutions using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Coordinate with clients to determine requirements for web and SharePoint solutions to client goals. Design front end web form layouts and styles to provide a robust user experience. Develop rapid prototypes to achieve buy-in from clients and further develop requirements utilizing a modified Agile process. Perform testing duties as necessary to ensure proper functionality. Create appropriate documentation and employ standard coding practices such as commenting code and version control. Bring your passion for creating an amazing user experience to Booz Allen in an opportunity to contribute to a project that meets challenges by collaborating with the client team to gather requirements for, design, and build web-based solutions within the organization's SharePoint site. Work with a SharePoint Website Designer and stakeholders within a DoD organization to complete various SharePoint development activities using JavaScript, SharePoint REST APIs, and other JavaScript libraries. Hone your skills and learn how to ensure accessibility for all users by developing a front end that functions across browsers, platforms, and devices while meeting accessibility and security requirements. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience with web development using JavaScript
- 1+ years of experience with SharePoint 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019, or SharePoint Online
- Ability to communicate effectively and help establish and track client requirements for development tasks
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- Experience with a software lifecycle process such as Agile development
- Experience with JQuery and SPServices
- Experience with Visual Basic macros for Microsoft Excel
