Your New Role
Bleacher Report is seeking a Shooter/Editor to play a vital role in the production of their video content, covering everything from high-profile live streams to field and features. This person will be involved in the entire production process, from ideation and the video execution to the final edit. B/R is looking for a hardworking team member with social-first instincts, as well as an understanding of the dynamics of platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and X. Proficiency in Adobe Suites (Premiere) and skills in operating various cameras (cinema cameras (Fx9, FX6), DSLRs & phones) are also required.
This person will use their passion for sports and knowledge of digital storytelling to help B/R achieve its content goals.
Your Role Accountabilities
Act as a trusted contributor for project lifecycle - ideation and production through final delivery
Concept, shoot & edit creative assets
Show originality by providing unique solutions to solve problems with stylistic variety
Manage personal and project time frames and complete assigned tasks on schedule
Demonstrate risk-taking and innovation, looking for creative opportunities in each task
Participate in brainstorm sessions and support creative teams as needed
Be willing to travel to games, events and shoots
Qualifications & Experiences
Demo reel/Gondola.cc of current work required 1-2 years of relevant experience, collegiate or professional sports television post-production preferred.
Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills Knowledge of social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram
Must be able to perform under very tight deadlines
Editing and shooting skills mandatory
Thorough understanding of post-production processes
Meticulous organization and categorizing skills
Creative flair for storytelling
Interpersonal Skills Self-motivated/ Takes initiative / Intuitive
Time management skills
Knowledge and appreciation of Bleacher Report, sports in general and social media a plus
