Summary
The role of Rebar Foreman is to oversee the Rebar shop (Machine operators and Material handlers). Responsible to act in accordance with the policies set forth in the Macuch Steel Employee Handbook. Daily responsibilities include maximize production, minimize cost, manage personnel, advance information flow, promote safety and assure atop-quality end product.

Manage and Train department employees
Manage Process Efficiency & Resources
Manage Information Document flow.
Control Expenses
Quality & Safety
Maintain and control inventory of consumable needs in department.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
Two -or more years' experience in shop floor production and one year or more experience as foreman or supervisor.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, drawings/blueprints operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
ABILITY TO READ A TAPE MEASURE TO 1/16"AND BASIC COMPUTER SKILLS IS A MUST.
