Our partner specializes in a broad range of services, including earth moving, restoration, landfill expansions and closures, site work, highway and bridge expansions, and utility installations. Position Overview: We are looking for a dedicated Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will have 5 years of experience in estimation within the construction industry, with a strong focus on earth-moving and restoration projects. This role involves preparing detailed cost estimates for various projects and ensuring accurate and efficient project planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive cost estimates for a variety of construction projects including landfill expansions, site work, highway and bridge projects, and utility installations.
• Review project plans, specifications, and requirements to provide accurate material and labor cost assessments.
• Prepare detailed proposals and cost breakdowns for clients, including scope of work and project timelines.
• Work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure estimates align with project requirements and budgets.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate conditions and gather necessary information for precise estimation.
• Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing and negotiate contracts.
• Monitor project progress and adjust estimates as required based on changes in scope or unforeseen conditions.
• Ensure all estimation practices comply with industry standards and company policies.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an estimator in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of earth moving, restoration, landfill work, site development, highway and bridge expansion, and utility installations.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to provide accurate and detailed cost estimates.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
