Role Summary: This global role sits in the fully remote U.S.-based team with a focus on social media ownership, content development and copy support for the KORA Organics brand. As filming and eventing with our founder is a critical aspect to this role, we are prioritizing candidates in the Los Angeles area.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day planning and execution of our social media strategy including scheduling, posting and community managing on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Linkedin and other emerging social platforms
- Lead engagement strategy to drive increased following, community building and reach for the KORA brand
- Act as community manager across all platforms, actively supporting our community both on our pages as well as theirs to build long-term relationships with ambassadors and partners
- Build and oversee content calendar across key marketing stories within the 360 wheel with an emphasis on social and blog, The Organic Edit
- Brief all social assets to creative team and partner with Art Director on content creation
- Own brand voice across marketing channels for KORA Organics, inclusive of copywriting and copyediting across channels, including but not limited to social, digital and retail
- Manage influencer outreach and content briefing with our agency of record and manage product seeding and gifting therein
- Lead onsite filming with our founder, Miranda Kerr, in support of KORA-related content needs for social, digital and retail
- Support marketing team in onsite eventing for PR, influencer and retail needs
- Analyze and deliver analytics reports to Marketing Director and CMO with an emphasis on optimizing in real time to deliver on KPIs
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:
- Strong understanding and passion for ever-evolving social media landscape with an emphasis on Instagram and Tiktok
- Comfort self-shooting and filming content within the lens of the KORA brand
- Optimization and analytical mindset to grow our channels
- Experience in beauty, wellness, fashion or lifestyle brands
- Excellent multitasking and time management skills
- Team player, living into our positively present and uplifting culture
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Desire to work in fast-paced, privately funded startup environment
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or related field
- 2+ years in social media management and content creation
- Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills
- Photography and videography skills as related to social media
- In-depth knowledge of leading social media platforms and their ever-changing best practices
- Proficient in social analytics and reporting tools.
