Job Description:
Are you a creative thinker with a passion for politics and a knack for social media? Our company is seeking a talented Social Media Creative Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing compelling social media content that resonates with our audience and advances our organizing and political priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary graphic designer and content creator for our social media platforms.
Craft engaging copy and curate content for various social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Threads, and TikTok.
Maintain our distinctive voice across all content and meet established production metrics.
Stay informed about current social trends, political developments, and organizing best practices to optimize social media engagement.
Assist in generating reports on social media activity and metrics.
Monitor emerging trends in social media and digital storytelling to leverage them effectively.
Requirements:
Minimum one year of experience in digital communications, content creation, or social media, preferably in a political campaign or nonprofit organization.
Proficiency in graphic design and video editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Ability to produce on-message content that resonates with our audience.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently.
Adaptability to evolving priorities and deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and a positive, collaborative attitude.
Bonus Points For:
Experience creating engaging video content using tools like Adobe Premiere, CapCut, or Canva.
Familiarity with social media analytics platforms such as Sprout Social, Twitter Analytics, or Facebook Analytics.

Base salary: $62,000
