Social Media Manager

Position Overview: Palace, a luxurious entertainment business located in Grand Prairie, Texas, is seeking an experienced and passionate Social Media Manager to join our growing team. This hybrid role will involve a mix of administrative duties and on-site content creation for our various social media channels. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing social media platforms, a creative flair for storytelling, and a strong background in internet technology, systems, and software.

This role requires strategic thinking, creativity, and a passion for both social media marketing and technology. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for driving our online presence through engaging campaigns while also managing and optimizing our systems and software related to digital content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the Palace brand, marketing objectives, and overall business goals.
• Content Creation: Create and manage content across all major social media platforms, including:
• Facebook
• Instagram
• Twitter (X)
• TikTok
• LinkedIn
• YouTube
• Snapchat

The content creation will involve both on-site coverage of events and activities as well as coordinating digital content remotely.

• Brand Building: Ensure all content aligns with the Palace brand voice, creating a cohesive online presence that resonates with our audience.
• Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and optimize social media marketing campaigns to drive engagement, increase followers, and support business growth.
• Community Engagement: Actively monitor and respond to audience interactions on all platforms to foster community engagement and build relationships with followers.
• On-Site Content Creation: Be on location to capture and produce real-time content for all social media channels, including events, special occasions, and live activities.
• Technology & Systems Management: Oversee the use and implementation of internet technology, systems, and software that support our digital and social media efforts. This includes optimizing tools for content management, analytics, and digital workflow.
• Videography & Photography: Coordinate and manage photoshoots and video content for social media, including event coverage, promotional videos, and live content.
• Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze social media performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies, adjusting tactics as needed for continuous improvement.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, operations, and external vendors to ensure social media efforts are aligned with broader marketing initiatives.
• Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media marketing.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, preferably within the entertainment, lifestyle, or hospitality industry.
• Deep understanding of all social media platforms and their respective audiences.
• Strong creative skills, with the ability to produce engaging content across various formats.
• Extensive experience with internet technology, systems, and software related to digital marketing and social media management.
• Experience with social media analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics).
• Photography and videography skills, with experience in content creation and editing.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience with influencer marketing and partnerships.
• Familiarity with advertising on social platforms such as Facebook Ads, Google Ads, etc.
