Hi! I’m Jessica Krewson, the CEO of designKREW. We are a fast-growing branding and marketing agency that serves successful brands. We are looking for a Social Media Manager to serve our internal and client social media needs.

We are looking for someone who is eager to be an active part of our amazing team and is both a big-picture creative thinker as well as capable of ironing out the small details.

This role is a remote, contractor position. This is the perfect opportunity for a social media expert who is looking for steady work with a growing company. (Plus, I think we’re pretty cool!)

About this Role

Our team is looking for an energetic, confident, and detail-oriented Social Media Manager who is a highly motivated, creative individual with experience and a passion for connecting with current and future customers. 

This role involves supporting our team and clients with social media strategy and execution. The Social Media Manager's ultimate goal is to turn fans into customers through consistent posting and engaging interaction. Will start as contract with the potential to move full-time. 


Key Responsibilities Include:


  • Client Onboarding: Ensure client account headers, bios, and planning software setups reflect brand objectives. Review creative briefs and provide content to align with social media objectives.
  • Content Creation and Management: Curate content from diverse sources. You are strategic and up-to-date with the best social strategies of the time. Craft engaging captions that capture the brand voice and edit artwork/photos as necessary for optimal impact.
  • Posting and Engagement: Execute content publishing schedules across platforms. Actively engage with followers by responding to comments and messages, enhancing community interaction.
  • Stories and Insights: Develop and publish stories weekly for specified clients. Monitor social media insights, analyze performance metrics, and provide actionable recommendations to improve content strategy and engagement levels.
  • Reporting: Compile weekly metrics and maintain a monthly social media insights report for each client, highlighting key achievements and areas for growth.

  • Your written and verbal communication skills foster strong connections and engagement with audiences.
  • A creative at heart, you generate compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences and aligns with brand guidelines.
  • Your meticulous attention to detail ensures polished posts that reflect brand identity and messaging.
  • Proficient in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok), management tools, and basic photo editing software.
  • Strong analytical skills enable you to leverage data insights for informed decision-making and performance optimization.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, remote work environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines effectively.
  • You are a collaborative team player who contributes to our supportive, positive, and innovative company culture.


Requirements:


  • 2-3 years experience in social media management, preferably within a digital marketing agency.
  • Advanced understanding of social media platforms, digital marketing, branding, and advertising.
  • Include the word pineapple in one of the answers in the application.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both written and verbal form.
  • Proven ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines within a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic, positive, self-motivated, energetic, and reliable.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks and clients for a creative agency.
  • Hours are flexible but a consistent schedule is needed and work hours will need to fall between M-F 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. PST.
  • Previous experience working remotely.
  • Willing to undergo a paid trial task if necessary during the interview round.
  • Willing to have an initial 3-month paid trial period.
