Social Media Marketing Intern
UNITE 2030 is looking for a kick-ass social media intern who lives and breathes content creation, humor, and building community! You should be an impeccable storyteller, both on-camera and off. You write, create, film authentically, and know how to the attention of an audience. You are passionate about everything content creation — from short-form video to social media copywriting. Job Title: Social Media & Content Intern (Contract, with possibility of extension)
Location: New York, NY (In-person)
Contract Duration: September 2024 - October 1, 2024

Based in New York City, UNITE 2030 is a US-based non-profit organization dedicated to driving sustainable change.
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media & Content Intern to join our team. The internship duration is 1 month, full-time. This is a paid internship at $16/hour.
This role is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of Camp 2030, our flagship event in September. The intern will be responsible for generating and brainstorming content ideas and creating engaging social media content for the event including TikToks, Reels, Instagram stories, and posts.
You must be based in New York City.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the UNITE 2030 team in developing content ideas for the event;
- Attend Camp 2030 and create live social media content, including TikToks, Reels, Instagram stories, and posts.
- Post daily content across social media platforms during the event.
- Generate and publish blog articles throughout the week at the event.
- Collaborate with the UNITE 2030 team to ensure cohesive and consistent messaging across all platforms.
Qualifications:
- Experience in creating short-form video content for TikTok, YouTube, Instagram on either a brand or personal channel
- An ability to shoot and edit videos comfortably in CapCut and Adobe Premiere
- Creative, out-of-the-box thinking
- Finger on the pulse of trends & internet culture
- Sense of humor and ability to produce engaging, relatable content
- Strong writing and social media copywriting skills, including long- and short-form
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- An ability to create engaging content that aligns with our brand
- Must be based in New York City and available to attend Camp 2030 in September.
