Social Media Specialist

CRG recently partnered with a rapidly growing, family-owned Health and Wellness brand who is seeking a Social Media Specialist to join their team! As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the social media strategy to increase online brand presence and improve marketing and sales efforts.

Opportunity: 3 month contract

Compensation: $24-$26/hour

Location: 100% REMOTE

Schedule: Part-time (around 20 hours a week)

Responsibilities:

  • Create, plan, and execute social media strategies that align with company goals.
  • Identify target audiences and tailor content to engage and attract them.
  • Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily (e.g., original text, photos, videos, and news).
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., marketing, sales) to ensure brand consistency.
  • Develop a content calendar and ensure timely content delivery.
  • Manage and oversee social media accounts on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
  • Monitor and respond to user interactions, comments, and messages promptly.
  • Foster positive engagement with the community and build relationships with followers.
  • Track, analyze, and report on social media metrics and performance.
  • Coordinate with influencers and partners for collaborative promotions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Design, Communications, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working with consumer packaged goods, preferred.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Instagram).
  • Excellent copywriting, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging content.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
