The Social Media Strategist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our social media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. You will be working closely with the Marketing and Sales departments to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and lead generation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Social Media Strategy: Design and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the company's overall marketing and business goals.
- Audience Engagement: Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a "social" way while cultivating leads and sales. Build and maintain a strong online community through engagement and dialogue.
- Social Media Advertising: Plan and execute paid social media campaigns on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and others. Monitor the effectiveness of campaigns and make adjustments to maximize ROI.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with the marketing, PR, and product teams to ensure a cohesive social media presence. Coordinate with designers and content creators to maintain a consistent brand voice and message across all platforms.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, platform changes, trends, and emerging technologies. Incorporate new tools and innovations into the strategy when appropriate.
- Deep understanding of various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) and their respective audiences.
- Strong content creation and copywriting skills.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
- Experience with paid social media advertising.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative thinker with a passion for social media and a strong understanding of digital marketing trends.
