Social Services Director

Kingston Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Services Director to join our team of healthcare professionals. As the Social Services Director at our facility, you will be responsible for overseeing the provision of social services to residents and their families, ensuring their emotional and social well-being.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments of residents and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide counseling and support to residents and their families.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and services for residents.
• Assist residents in accessing community resources and services.
• Advocate for residents' rights and well-being.
• Supervise and support social work staff.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for the social services department.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all social work services provided.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Current Social Work license in the state of Ohio.
• Previous experience working in a healthcare or long-term care setting, with a preference for leadership experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and lead a department.
